Prince of Wales Hospice

The Prince of Wales Hospice provides free of charge, round-the-clock care to local people affected by life-limiting illnesses in the Five Towns area of West Yorkshire, and does so 365 days a year. We provide care, comfort and support to nearly 1,000 local families every year, helping them through the most difficult of times. We care for patients with a wide range of life-limiting illnesses, including cancer, COPD and Motor Neurone Disease. Our services include Incare, Outreach, Therapy and a Lymphoedema Clinic. We don’t just ease physical symptoms like pain, but also emotional and spiritual difficulties too. The majority of people who stay with us will return home once our expert team have helped to manage their symptoms. Our care also extends to the families and carers of our patients, who often need us just as much. We rely on the generosity and support of local people, organisations and businesses to raise over £3 million each year to fund our care.
